I just wanted to take a minute to say a few words about Love In Between. First of all, I want to thank you all for reading my newest release Love In Between. It’s been a whirlwind of a week with all of your beautiful messages and comments about the book. I will admit that I was scared to publish the book because of the huge success of Forever Black/Forever You. This book was completely different and I wasn’t sure how everyone would like it since the story of Connor and Ellery is still fresh in everyone’s minds. Needless to say, I can relax because the book is successful and a lot of you really seemed to love Luke and Lily’s story and for that I’m grateful.
I would like to address something that I came across today. It was in a review about the abrupt ending of Love In Between and the questioning of my dedication to my readers. Then it went on to say that I must have gotten bored, lost interest or ran out of ideas and I couldn’t be bothered any more.
The truth is when I started writing Love In Between, it was only supposed to be a stand alone book. Then as the story line developed, more words and pages kept coming. If I would have put everything in that book alone, it would have been over 600 pages and that would have been a HUGE complaint with a lot of people. I had to break it up into two novels for the sake of keeping the page numbers down. I know when you fall in love with a book and/or characters, you want more of them and it’s hard to wait. The reason The Upside Of Love is being released in 2014 is because I’m on a deadline with Forever Us and that needs to wrap up first!
I can take a bad review. I’ve heard it all. But the one thing I will not take is when someone questions my dedication to my readers!
Thank you for taking the time to read this. I love you all and you know it or I wouldn’t keep giving you your Connor fixes! Lol..
All my best,
Sandi Lynn
